Re: Very slow

Hello, I don't know why your system is slow. Do you have any other running services while using FSX and SBuilder? How much RAM do you have and how much of it is free? There are many possible causes for this problem. As to the exclude terrain poly, could you please show a screenshot, not too large, p...

Re: How do you enter and change values in CALIBRATE

Hello,

Perhaps the Calibrate function is a little confusing.

If the Map you import is already calibrated, you will always be prompted to calibrate anyway. You can safely just cancel the calibration as it is not needed.

Best regards.

Re: Aerial imagery downloaded via the tile-server royalty fr

Hello and Happy New Year, I am not a lawyer, but up to now I have not heard of any instance where Google or another map server has gone after freeware developers. And there has been a lot of scenery made with these aeriel images over the last decade. So, you probably need not worry. Best regards. Luis

Re: SBuilderX3.14 X86

Hello,

I am not sure if this is the source of your problem, but some aspects of SBuilder may show errors if your decimal separator is a comma.

Would you please indicate what your Windows Numbers settings has as decimal separator?

Again, I am not certain that this is the problem.

Best regards.

Re: Struggling to make the seasons?

Hello, Your non-working inf file indicates that the Blend and Water Masks are respectively Channels 3 and 4. In fact, you have a Fall bitmap in Channel 3 and a Winter bitmap in Channel 4, whereas the Blend and Water Masks are in Channels 5 and 6. You could try making those corrections to the inf fil...

Re: SBuilder FS9 Problem creating Mesh

Hello, It is hard to say why you see no difference from the default mesh, but there are a few possibilities that come to mind. 1. Is the SRTM source different from what is used in the default mesh? You can compare the two files in TMFViewer, I think. Just load both bgls and switch from one to the ot...

Re: Please help SBuilder for fs9

Hello, You seem to be doing everything right. It is not really clear why your scenery is not displaying in game. I have very little memory of FS 2004 and its scenery so could not provide good troubleshooting. Could you please indicate the size of the projects? From what I remember, each project must...

Re: Class Map not found

Hello Nick,

Probably the problem is due to Windows 10 or maybe to user privileges. You might try installing SBuilderX outside of the default Program directory. Perhaps that may solve the problem.

Best regards.

Re: calibrate a map

The Help file contains detailed and illustrated instructions on Map Calibration.

Since I am no rocket scientist, not even pre-med, the Help file is written in language that common and ordinary people can understand.

Re: ATTN SBuilderX 64 and Win10 Workaround

Don't really know what you mean by a fix. Flight Simulator X was canceled 11 years ago and development of SBuilder ended as well. SBuilder was the work of Luis Sá who spent much of his time making this great and free tool for us and we are grateful. Anybody who wants to create a new and better scene...

Re: Can I rotate the image in SBuilderX?

Do you mean the Map, that is, the background image of the ground? If so, no, SBuilderX does not rotate it, but you can do that with any image editing program.

Best regards.

Re: SBuilderX314x86 can't find FSX

Hello, SBuilderX looks for a file named FSX.exe. Obviously, if you are using P3D, then it won't find it. You can try making a copy of the P3D exe and renaming it to FSX.exe. In the SBuilderX settings, point to this file. I don't think it matters to SBuilderX, probably it is only used if you want the...
