Re: SBX 3.14 Undo/Redo
Thanks for the quick reply, Dick. I can confirm that Undo/redo works after checking the box under preferences. I wonder why Luis felt that step necessary. It certainly isn't intuitive. Old SBP files are not guaranteed to work. I hope this is not intentional, since 3.13 and 3.14 can't easily co-exist...

SBX 3.14 Undo/Redo
I've been using 3.14 to touch-up a couple of my airports. I'm pleased to see that, unlike its predecessor, it remembers non-default project locations. However: *the undo/redo icons don't seem to work, and *attempting to load a landclass-only .sbp file prepared with 3.13 (and which still loads uneven...

A Few Suggestions
Luis, I've spent a good part of the last few days editing a number of CVX files with SBuilderX 3.13. First of all, let me say thank you for this utility. This is the first time I've used the new version other than in a cursory fashion. While generally it behaved quite well, should you be thinking ab...

Luis, all the data needed to manage this problem is available. The polys records the indices of the holes, and the holes record the index of the poly. It should be a fairly simple algorithm to maintain these relationships. But, if you can't, I suggest you at least provide a warning when holes are pr...

Thanks for the info Dick. I wasn't aware of this restriction. However, as explained in my first post, the poly that was moved - to the "top of the stack" (i.e., to the highest numbered poly) so I could see others - was unrelated to the one with the holdes. The relative positions of the probelm poly ...

Polys with Holes
The cross-references between the poly and its holes are not properly updated if any of them move within the files. For example, if an unrelated poly occuring earlier in the file than the poly with holes is deleted or moved to, say, the bottom of the file, the poly "loses track of" the holes and the ...

SBuilderX Won't Install to Alternate Folder
Luis, thought you'd like to know that when I first installed SBuilderX 3.10 to a folder other than the default (but where SBuilderX 3.00 had previously been installed), I received an exception error message (something to the effect that there couldn't be a minus sign in a non-Base 10 number) immedia...

SBuilder Sometimes Exits Without Saving
Sometimes, if you make changes to polys, lines, etc. and attempt to exit SBuilder without first saving the changes, SBuilder will ask whether you really want to exit. Other times, SBuilder will exit without issuing the cautionary messsage and simply discard the changes. Since I often compile and run...

Some additional information on this problem, Luis. Whether one specifies the texture for a line using an assembled texture set or names the textures individually, the "Effects" checkbox in the "Named textures for VTP lines" dialog is checked. It's not clear why this should be the default, but no mat...

Luis, I hit the "panic button" a moment too soon. After posting the previous message, I opened the _VPTL.scm file to see if there was anything unusual. I found a strange looking texture in the form "winter.bmp;;hard_winter.bmp;spring.bmp;summer.bmp;fall.bmp;night.bmp". Note the double semi-colon aft...

Luis, my "disappearing VTPs at dusk/dark" problem has recurred. Once again, if I remove the _VTPL.bgl, the VTPs re-appear; but, of course the roads, etc that were in the "lines" module are missing. Last time this occurred (see http://www.scenerydesign.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2156), I resolved the...

SBuilder VTPs Disappear at Dusk/Night
A problem with SBuilder VTP lines resulted in many of my VTP polys, including parts of my airport poly, and certain UT Canada/Alaska roads disappearing at dusk/night and being replaced with the underlying landclass. The problem was related to two VTP lines that had to be prioritized to a higher laye...

Misleading Error Message
A minor problem that caused me some grief earlier today. I changed the name of the destination folder for my compiled BGL files, but forgot to update the folder specification in SBuilder. Some time later I returned to do some further work with SBuilder, Upon attempting to compile and transfer the BG...
