Re: Struggling with SbuilderX's _LM night lighting?

Great! Sorry I could not get back to you before, personal issues got in the way.

But, it's good to know that you found a solution. By the way, your airfield looks stunning, very realistic. Congratulations.

Best regards.

Re: Struggling with SbuilderX's _LM night lighting?

Hello,

At first sight, I don't see any errors in the inf file. Have you tried manually running the compilation in order to get error messages?

Best regards.

Do you have anything specific in mind? The SBuilder Help file should cover most topics and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask here.

Best regards.

Re: Sbuilder.ini nowhere to be found!

Hello,

Perhaps SBuilder is not able to create the file if it has been installed in the default Programs directory. If this is the problem, could you please try installing it in another unprotected directory and see what happens?

Best regards.

Re: Is there a bug in the 64bit version of SBX

SBuilderX has nothing to do with system file management. That is a bug in Windows.

Re: How to create photo realistic scenery with a night view.

You must go to the Properties page of your Map where you can indicate the locations of all your seasonal and night variants. You can find this information both in the Help file as well as the photo-real tutorial. Please do read them as I had to put a lot of effort and time into making them for the b...

Re: Tile Server Plug-Ins for SBuilderX

I can now confirm that at this location the Google dll fetches only partial coverage or none at all depending on zoom level at first. I had to reload the tiles 4 or 5 times before finally getting them all up to zoom level 17. Something seems to be slowing things down there. Freiburg flughafen.jpg Di...

Re: Tile Server Plug-Ins for SBuilderX

I have now made a quick test of Dick's last Google dll and it works without problems.

I got multiple zoom levels up to level 17 of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

If you are having problems, please indicate the precise location so that we can also test there.

Best regards.

Re: Tile Server Plug-Ins for SBuilderX

Thanks for the tip. That's what I use and it does clone well. But, my drives are a little messed up. I have Grub booting Windows from a second hard drive and the clone won't boot. I'll have to try the Repair Console or just install a new copy of Win 7 to the SSD. Yes, Everything should work fine as ...

Re: Tile Server Plug-Ins for SBuilderX

Sorry, haven't been able to try as I am attempting to migrate to an SSD at the moment, without much luck.

Hopefully, Dick Ludowise will soon step in with a new version of the Google dll.

Best regards.

Re: ESRI Shape files not happening

1. Flattens- you used an All-Terrain Exclusion to eliminate the default Hydro Polygons. This Exclusion gets rid of everything that is part of the default terrain, including Roads and Airport Flattens. Flattens at airports, among other things, prevent autogen vegetation and buildings from displaying ...

Re: ESRI Shape files not happening

Congratulations! A very big step forward. I can't go into too much detail now, because my hands are seriously injured and it is hard to type. A cat had to go to the vet this morning - she did not agree and bit me very hard. Your airport flattens were excluded along with everything else. An airport f...

Re: ESRI Shape files not happening

Hello, I have placed various tutorials, including one detailing how to create and modify terrain (such as water polygons), on my Google Drive account and the links are in the thread at the top of the normal SBuilderX forum. Please take a look at the tutorial on Terrain Design, as it will show you ho...

Re: ESRI Shape files not happening

Hello, 1. Your roads wind up in the ocean instead of on land. As Lance and I already mentioned, the default scenery is not accurate. The water polygons representing the ocean are incorrectly drawn in the default scenery. So, your roads made from accurate sources will not coincide with the inaccurate...
