Re: sbuilderx
You can choose to install anything outside of the Windows protected directories.
I myself have Flight Simulator X, the SDK, and various versions of SBuilder on a different volume in order to avoid any User Access problems.
Best regards.

Re: liftup a runway
Hello,
SBuilderX does not modify runways, taxiways, aprons, or other airport facilities.
Please try Airport Design Editor for this task.
Best regards.

Re: Can't open SbuilderX 314 forum
It is clear that there are times when users need to get an exact location in FSX. Ian provides excellent working solutions. I think that Mark mentioned the possibility of renaming the P3D exe to FSX.exe; I don't know if this will allow you to connect to a running instance of P3D, though. You can try...

Re: Can't open SbuilderX 314 forum
This sounds right to me, Ian. The only reason why SBuilderX would need FSX is in case the user wants to connect to it to determine a location more accurately.
If the user doesn't care about that, then he should just ignore the warning and make his scenery project anyway.
Best regards.

Dick Ludowise put up this link a while ago to his OneDrive repository, but I don't know if it is still valid. Just give it a try, please.

Re: Install problem
Unfortunately, you may have to resort to using the 32-bit version of SBuilderX.
Please try it and see if you continue to have problems.
Best regards.

Re: No background image
What altitude, specifically?
Image servers do not provide all zoom levels for every part of the world. If no image is available for that zoom level, then SBuilderX can only display a blank (white) screen.
Best regards.

Re: Can't open SbuilderX 314 forum
Ian has given the best solution. I have SBuilder (all versions) in a different directory, and even on another volume.
Perhaps you could try running SBuilderX as an administrator, that might also allow you access to protected Windows directories.
Best regards.

Re: Autogen problem
Photo-real ground prevents the autogen of the underlying land class from displaying. A Blend Mask adds a small complication: the opaque and partially transparent areas block autogen, and only the totally transparent parts (completely black, RGB=0,0,0) will allow the land class and its autogen to dis...
