SBuilderX314 complete zip

Post by rhumbaflappy » Fri Jul 11, 2014 12:49 am

Hi all.

Until Luis returns from sailing, I'm going to make available a zip file of a complete SBuilderX314 folder. It contains everything. Just unzip it to the harddrive location of choice, and it should run on any 64-bit Windows7 or Windows8. Make a shortcut of the SBuilderX.exe and place that on your desktop, if you like.

When Luis returns, he'll decide if a full 314 installer is a good option, and I'll remove this zip from the cloud.

This should end installation problems a few users are still having.

Registry Entries

Post by iangbusa » Thu Jul 17, 2014 3:01 pm

There are still a whole bunch of Registry entries for 313. Can I just delete them? Obviously the uninstaller didn't catch them. Wonder if this causes any problems for me. :?:

I would think you could delete the entries. If there are any problems, you could reinstall 313, and still use the 314.

Registry entries deleted. 314 (from the full install you posted, Dick) appears to work no matter where located - Program Files or Program Files (x86). The only problem left (under Windows 8.1) that I've come across so far is the shapefile reading problem described elsewhere.

Looks like everything runs smoothly as before under Win 7.1
