Madeira Islands and FS2004
Dear Sirs,
It appears that the Madeira Scenery does not work in FS2004. Will you offer a patch for the scenery package soon?
Best Regards,
Bodo Mueller

Dear Bodo and all Madeira Islands users,
We will start working on making Madeira Islands compatible with FS2004 now as we had no access to the sim before its release.
Please do not answer to this topic. Please wait for me to post here again when a patch is ready! If you want to discuss this matter just start a new topic!
Therefore I suggest that you subscribe this topic (see the the bottom of the page) if you want to be notified by email when the patch is available.
Regards, Luis

Dear Madeira Islands users,
The patch to make Madeira Islands compatible with FS2004 is available at:
http://www.ptsim.com/mad_p0/mad2k2.asp
When Microsoft releases technical information about the new AFD file format we will issue a final patch that will make Madeira Islands 100% compatible with FS2004.
Thank you for using Madeira Islands,
Luis Sá

Hello Ed,
I saw your shots in AVSIM and I noticed this artifact! I tried to email you but for some reason, I could not!
You need to change FS9.CFG! The following is from Readme:
<b>
Point 3==========
If the SETUP programme cannot modify the file FS9.CFG, then the following
message should appear: "You need to change the file FS9.CFG!". For example
the file can be hidden, can have the attribute of "read only" or it can just
have been moved away from its correct location. This file can be normally
found in this folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9
You need to modify the following line in the [TERRAIN] section of FS9.CFG
to read:
TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=21</b>
Also note that changing the display settings from "Customs" can bring the parameter back to its default of ...VERTEX=19 ! See the PDF manual for this matter!
Here is a shot for the same region:
If this does not solve the problem please come back!
