terrain elevation issues after using geotiff data

Hello
I've been using SbuilderX for a few weeks now, following tutorial here and there (which is mind exhausting), and I finally able to make my own basic PhotoRealScenery. Now I am trying to use real world DEM data to give my scenery height / elevation / etc etc. I managed to convert some STRM .tiff files from USGS, resample it and created a .bgl from it. So I load up my FSX and the results can be seen here
1.https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/ ... 2830_o.jpg
2.https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/ ... 2755_o.jpg
3.https://scontent-sin.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot ... 7002_o.jpg
and
4.https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/ ... 4591_o.jpg
So as you guys can see, my runway is buried, and there's places where the elevation just kinda.. abruptly cut off (sorry if I sounded weird, but then again, English isn't my first language). So how do I fix this? How do I reconcile the terrain? Is there any guide or tutorial out there that I can follow? I've been searching for hours and I can't found any solution, so I figure I can just ask questions here.
Note: It turns out that the DEM tile doesn't cover the entire Island, which might explain the anomaly on the left side of the island, but not on the upper right ones. Anyway, is there anyway to combine two separate .bgl elevation files, like we did with multiple bmp files?
Thank you
